We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement process and ensure the timely purchase of quality materials, products, and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost optimization, inventory coordination, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet organizational requirements.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders and vendor contracts.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure material availability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any procurement-related issues.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and cost analyses for management review.
Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
MBA or relevant procurement certifications are an added advantage.
